Elbert County Mission Statement:
Elbert County Health and Environment is dedicated to strengthening the health, safety, and environment of individuals without regard to age, religion, sex, disability, race, color, creed, or ability to pay for services.

Our main functions include:

¨Promoting and Encouraging healthy behaviors
¨Responding to Disasters and assisting Communities in recovery
¨Ensuring the Quality and Accessibility of Health Services


Specific adult services include:

¨Gynecological exams including Pap Smears and STI screening
¨Confidential contraceptive services and supplies
¨General Health Library available to the public
